Great place for BBQ! One of the best places I've had BBQ. If you're looking for a nice low key place to enjoy amazing food, this is the place to go.

Dangit, man! BBQ gets me EVERY. TIME. I don't know if this qualifies as "authentic southern barbeque" by a southern standard, but it definitely qualifies as "really #@!$ delicious barbeque" by MY standard. The meat is saucy and juicy and perfectly cooked, and the brick-o-cornbread was huge, warm, and mildly flavored. The beans (which were recommended as a favorite) WERE good... however... they kinda tasted exactly like the pulled pork, swimming in a pool of their "competition" BBQ sauce. (Which, don't get me wrong... was AMAZING... but it was heavy and maybe not a very unique baked bean flavor.) It felt a little over-priced but maybe that's what you get for good quality meats? Either way, it's worth it. I also loved the stack of wood out back by the smoker. The whole group left feeling like a bunch of happy, stuffed pigs, full of juicy, pulled pig. Nom.

OK, this is a savvy business owner who reads his reviews. I went back for the brisket, and an order of fries and both were great. The brisket was warm and moist, barely any fat, and with a small amount of sauce on the sandwich. The fries were much less salty, greatly improved. The sandwich roll is good for another meal almost, and best with the honey that is on the table and the competition sauce. Someone walked by with a quesadilla, and I spotted a grilled cheese that both looked good. Thanks for reading, Ron!

Great little BBQ place! Stopped here on our way back to Ca, had the pork sandwich and husband had brisket... We both loved it! We also ended up stealing the Mac and cheese from the kids and it was amazing! Great smokey flavor to it!

Pork ribs were AMAZING. Great flavor, fall-off-the-bone tenderness, high quality meat with no rubbery or fatty parts. Cornbread was moist. BBQ beans were delicious. Sides of chipotle and bourbon sauces were good too, there was no guessing what was what. I walked in just before closing so just wish they had waited till after closing to clean out the iced tea dispenser. If I lived nearby, I would eat here all the time!

We LOVE good BBQ. So when driving thru Idaho Falls at lunchtime, we found this place. Fortunately for us, it's Saturday and the Saturday Special is the Burnt Ends platter. (We had read about the Burnt Ends in Yelp reviews so we wanted to order them.) All we can say is O.M.G. The Burnt Ends were fantastic. And the Rob's Favorite platter (brisket sando topped with onion rings and provolone cheese) was good. The fries were really good. The only negative was that the cornbread was served cold. It was good, but cornbread should be served warm.

Stopped on our way through. got a sandwich and two meat plate. fries were good. green beans and bacon were excellent. great cornbread. Nice staff. clean restrooms. meats were tasty. original bbq sauce was my favorite. seems like a chain no as divey as i wanted but it was good anyhow.

Stopped here on the road back from Yellowstone. Great location, just off the highway. Great BBQ, all around!! The proprietary sauces were original and great, and the cornbread was perfect. It could be a little bigger - we got seats quickly because we came in for an early lunch, but I could easily things stacking up during the lunch hour, especially when the food is as good as it is.

Being from the south, we take our BBQ pretty seriously. We were driving through on our way to Glacier National Park, and decided to stop for a quick bite. As we pulled up, I was a little concerned as it seemed a little too clean and corporate on the outside. Most great BBQ joints at have a little grime to them. All the medals on the wall were a good sign. While the pulled pork was nothing special, the ribs and the brisket were excellent. Go with the original competition sauce. If you are looking for great taste, the best item on the menu is the "pork candy." Caramelized brown sugar coated thick cut bacon? Healthy? Of course not... But I promise you won't care.

Outstanding! There's bbq and then there's competition bbq. This is competition winning bbq at its best! Order a sampler, order by the pound. They got you covered. Whatever you get you know it will be meatastic.

Ribs done right. Smoked to perfection and NOT fall off the bone as most people in the west think ribs should be. Ribs that are cooked right should be firm and pull away when you bite into them but not falling away. The carmalization of the sauce hits the sweet spot and finishes off the perfect combo of a deep smoked to the bone rib with great sauce. The service and wait time is the only thing holding this place back from five stars.
(4)Sarah P.
Crazy delicious! The meats were all smoked tender and tasty. The ribs were exceptional. We will certainly come back next time we are in Idaho Falls.

OMG, I've never been created by a burrito before, but this place has one that will knock your socks off. I forget the name, but it's a pulled pork burrito that's fried afterwards. On top of being the size of a grown man's forearm, it comes with a side and is about ten dollars. If you to try something new and you can unbutton your pants afterward, try this dish in Idaho falls.

I'm a judge for the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Association so I eat a lot good Q. I can't say this of the most of the restaurants where I've eaten BBQ, except now. The ribs I had here were hands down the best ribs I've eaten at a commercial establishment. The baked beans were also some of the best I've had. I can't say the same for the chicken, which was a little dry. Also, the cornbread was typical of most northern restaurants; more of a sweet, cake-like, side than good ole southern cornbread. Nevertheless, this was some good food. I plan to eat here often.

Great barbque. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is well priced for the amount of work that goes into prepping.

It was pretty cold out and a nice hot meal sounded great. This place looked good so we decided to give it a try. Delicious!! The cornbread is the best that I have ever had. It's moist and the flavor is unexplainable. We came in on a Saturday and had a chance to try the burnt ends. They were great. We also got Rob's favorite. The Mac n cheese (homemade) is a must have! Everything was great. It's nice to see a family owned business doing good things! Will definitely be back.

I eat a lot of BBQ and I don't think there's any doubt that this place has the best BBQ in Idaho. Order what you want because everything I've tried has been amazing. I stop and eat here every time I'm in Idaho Falls.

In Idaho Falls for business. Tried this place based on the reviews. All good. Great BBQ brisket, beans and cornbread wow. I will be back. Friendly staff too!
(4)JB P.
The ribs were legit. Soft and tasty. The corn bread so flavorful and moist. The fries were amongst the best. The pulled pork and brisket I had at the time was dry, but with their home made BBQ sauce, I hardly noticed. First time was a great experience. Will be back again!

This is hands down the best place for Ribs in a 100+ mile radius! The food is always fresh and great. I love ribs that fall off the bone and do not need sauce, this is what you always get here! But if you do like sauce, they have a great selection of great tastes. Now for the sides... Mac & Cheese... Can't be beat!!! I could live on this stuff:) do yourself a favor and stop in for dinner or take out!!!

5 stars for a casual bbq restaurant. You BET. We have a BBQ place that is popular in my hometown that got publicity on Food Network. It's pretty good, but it's not nearly as good as Pitmaster. I ordered a rack of ribs (took 1/2 back was too much), and they were amazing, some of the best bbq I have had. The people working there are great (and I'm saying that about people who work at the counter!)... I LOVED my meal here, and recommend them highly!!

For my work I travel all over the country. This year I had a 22 city tour across the American south and I tried beef brisket in every city. The beef brisket and chipotle sauce here in Twin Falls is as good as any in the country. Great food, friendly people. Great job. I will return.

Didn't even realize this place existed, but was playing with Yelp on my phone and saw it. Reviews looked good so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. Both the brisket sandwich and the ribs were outstanding. Even bought some of each to bring home and it's as good here as it was in the restaurant. Definitely the best BBQ, in Idaho Falls.

We went here tonight because the Chukars game got rained out. I got the two meat plate with brisket, pork, cornbread and smoky mac & cheese and my husband got the pork sandwich with cornbread. The cornbread was pretty good and they give you a large chunk. The meat was delicious, but it was room temperature when it was served to us. We brought quite a bit of mine home and I think the brisket will be a lot better when it's heated up. The cheese sauce on the macaroni was a little grainy and had kind of a weird consistency. The service was good. Would have been 5 stars if our meat had been nice and hot, because it was super tasty and the sauce was great.

Candied bacon. For freaking real, candied freaking bacon. Also had the ribs, great rub, smoky flavor, just the right tenderness. Cornbread was good too. The food was perfect, I would recommend they add a second side for the price though. If your going to spend 20 bucks for a meal and a drink you should give your customers a good value

Usually I go there Saturday for the brisket burnt ends. I've eaten some brisket in my time, and this is some of the best. The restaurant is right off US 20 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. My favorite sides are the baked beans and the green beans and bacon. And the cornbread. And the French fries. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. One of my favorite places to eat in Idaho Falls.
(4)Stephanie B.
If you like a good BBQ, this is the place for you! Mouth watering brisket, (be sure you try the burnt ends!!-nothing better!) ribs that will stick to yours and make your taste buds do a jig and BBQ chicken that will make you want to spread your wings and fly! I loved the burger made with sirloin and smoked for a different flavor than what you get on a grill. The choices of sides will blow your mind! Mac and cheese, baked beans (sigh), just to list a couple, are exceptional. The cornbread will leave you longing for more! Finish your meal with a special desert that changes daily: chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cupcakes with coconut frosting, mint brownies, how's a person to choose? The service is excellent and the help is friendly and professional. It is a casual atmosphere, which I quite like. You get your own utensils, napkins and soda and that's just fine by me. One of my very favorites at Pitmaster are the choices of homemade BBQ sauce on each table. Try them all to see what you like best. I put it on everything but the cornbread!! You won't leave hungry and you won't leave disappointed!

I eat a lot of BBQ and I'm very picky about it. This was amazing "true" BBQ. Definitely worth the stop if passing through.

Was leaving the ISU campus in Idaho Falls and decided to give this place a try because I has never been there and it seemed like a nice place. It is a small building and right off highway 20. Staff was friendly and the guy at the counter knew the menu well. I asked him what he recommended and got the Hawg-a-Changa. He warned me it was on the large side and at $10.00 I was hoping he was right. I was not lied to the ting was massive and came with fries. The gigantic BBQ burrito probably weighed 2.5 pounds. I will definitely be going back.
(5)Kailey L.
Soooo good!!! I had onion rings, coleslaw, and Mac n cheese. My husband had robs favorite. We loved everything about it. Found our new go to restaurant. Will be coming back in the future for sure! Very impressed.
(5)Travis H.
One of my favorite BBQ places EVER! I try to stop in on Saturdays for their burnt ends before they are gone. We've had them cater a few of our family events and the food is ALWAYS exceptional. This is definitely a hidden gem in Idaho Falls!! If you've not eaten here yet, you are definitely missing out...

"Yum! I love this place!!! The brisket is out of this world and the Mac and Cheese is even better. You can tell everything is made from scratch and it is delicious
(5)Natalie H.
I had the combo plate with chicken, pulled pork and ribs. Everything was delicious! The ribs came right off the bone just like they said they would. I don't think it matters what you order, I'm sure it's going to be good! The chicken was my favorite!
